It didn?t feel like a tour at all, more like spending the day exploring with friends. They took me to hidden spots I never would have found on my own, and I loved every second of it! 100% recommended ? would do it again!
Great time
Mark brought the fun. Our tour to Te Henga (Bethells Beach) and the nearby dunes was one of the highlights of our time in New Zealand. Te Henga is absolutely stunning—the black sand beach, powerful waves, and rugged cliffs make it feel raw and untouched. It’s one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. The dunes were just as impressive and a really fun part of the experience. Climbing them was a bit of a workout, but the views at the top were incredible—and heading back down (running or sliding) was honestly a blast. The whole tour was well-paced and gave us plenty of time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for something unique and a little adventurous outside the typical tourist spots, this is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

A fantastic day out and a trip I would thoroughly recommend. Beautiful scenery and Marki, the host, was amazing. His intimate knowledge of the area made it so much more interesting. Very well priced too.

Jan 2026 • CouplesWe had a wonderful and exciting day with Mark. As a local, he took us to the most beautiful places, which we would never have found on our own. Thanks to his open nature, it was never boring; we always had something to talk about.
He has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and nature and is happy to share it. When climbing the small mountain, he set a good pace, which even amazed us Swiss.
